After a short hike you reach the Leirhnjukur volcano. Since the hike was anything but easy due to the slow melting of the ice, this landscape was devoid of people. A wonderful way to make a very detailed shot from many individual shots. The snow melts on the hot lava rock and contributes to the uniqueness of this place.
