Find out more about Ryan Miller
Ryan, where are you from and where do you live now?
I am from a lot of places… my dad liked to move a lot! But I’ve settled in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S.
How would you describe your artistic style?
Clean, simple, modern. How about Nordic? Can I move to Scandinavia please?
What's on top of your bucket list (as an artist or just as a person)?
Travel to more places is always on the top : )
Analogue or digital?
Digital.
New York or remote mountain hut?
New York.
Becks or Merlot?
Both?
And a little Proust: What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Being present in the moment, whatever it is, with no fear of the future, nostalgia for the past, just full embrace of the now.
Which living person do you most admire?
Father Greg Boyle. Unbelievable human being. Bryan Stevenson is a close second.
What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Prudence.
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
My wife.
If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
Oh man, no idea. But a ride as a Bar-tailed Godwit would be pretty fun.
The world needs more...
awareness.
I’ve changed my mind about…
almost everything.
What most people don't understand is that…
evolution isn’t fun but it is necessary.
