I painted this beer wave in watercolor inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's famous woodblock print, The Great Wave off Kanagawa.
I enjoyed reinterpreting this great Japanese classic in an ironic way.
Afterward, I digitally added the beer kanji in the center of the image. (麦 酒 - Bakushu)
