This photo was taken in the small town Babille in Eastern Ethiopia, famous for its camel and livestock market. The picture shows two Somali girls. The arid lowlands of the southeast dictate a (semi)nomadic existence for the Somali who make up 95% of the Somali region´s people, and 6% of Ethiopia´s population.

Did you know that artists only receive single-digit commission amounts from most online galleries? While rent and food prices etc. are on the rise, many freelance artists don't make enough money to make ends meet.
That's why we at Photocircle have a different model. While we also need to offer competitive prices, our artists decide for themselves the amount of their commissions. So if the prices of our pictures vary sometimes, you now know why.
By the way: Christina Feldt donates 15% of the proceeds to our reforestation project in Ethiopia, where we hope to have planted 500,000 trees by the end of 2023.
