Help for flood victims in Myanmar

Project Goals

With €500, we can help support the more than 1 million people affected by the severe floods and landslides in Myanmar.

Project Location

Myanmar, Asia

Project Details

Due to severe floods and landslides in Myanmar, affecting more than 1 million people, a comprehensive emergency appeal was launched by the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, to which about 500 staff members and volunteers of the Red Cross are contributing. They are carrying out evacuations as well as providing first aid, relief supplies and clean water. So far, the Red Cross has been able to reach over 50,000 people with their emergency aid. Additionally, the Red Cross is providing households with essential household items, hygiene packages and tents. They also handout cash.

Since early October 2019 we've already been able to plant 154.977 trees thanks to the pictures sold on Photocircle. They will absorb approximately 12.398.160 kg CO₂ within the next five years.
