Shibuya crossing in Tokyo is an interesting sight, not only on summer weekends. A winter visit saw unexpectedly heavy snowfall in the evening. While there are no vehicles on the intersection, people can be seen on the opposite side of the street. In front of the towering buildings, their bodies are reduced to little figures. Snowflakes are blowing by in front of the glowing neon signs.
Did you know that artists only receive single-digit commission amounts from most online galleries? While rent and food prices etc. are on the rise, many freelance artists don't make enough money to make ends meet.
That's why we at Photocircle have a different model. While we also need to offer competitive prices, our artists decide for themselves the amount of their commissions. So if the prices of our pictures vary sometimes, you now know why.
By the way: Jörg Faißt donates 100% of the proceeds to our reforestation project in Ethiopia, where we hope to have planted 500,000 trees by the end of 2023.
