School education for girls in Bangladesh

In Bangladesh, over three million children don’t go to school. Children with no access to education mostly come from poor families because they simply lack the money to pay for school. But education is incredibly important for children. In order to find a fair paid job, you need to be able to read, write and count.

With your support you can help NETZ to realize “School for the poor” –  a project, which helps provide access to school education for girls. NETZ does not prescribe solutions against poverty, but instead supports the initiatives of the underprivileged and their true will for change.

The project establishes schools for the indigenous minority and for kids of poor families living in island chars in the north of the country. Every school consists out of a class of 30 kids from the village. Especially girls will get support through this project, because a lot of parents do not see the importance of education for their daughters. The girls are being taught Bengali, English, Maths, Social Studies and Culture. NETZ also traines the teaching staff in child-oriented teaching methods. The amount of funding is 230 Euro and allows the access to school education for five girls.

By buying one of your pictures on canvas, Alu Dibond or acrylic glass you allow five girls the access to elementary education.
