Project Goals
A get-home-safely pot of money for people at risk on public transport to take a taxi, uber, or equivalent from events. EUR 800 would enable TFI to establish and promote the get-home-safely system with a pilot project of three pots in venues and events in Berlin, including continued support and a three-month evaluation of each pot and the pilot project followed by wider distribution.

For marginalised people, community participation is an essential part of survival and attending events can be an important part of that participation. Unfortunately, many people who attend events, parties and workshops by public transport are at risk, particularly trans women/trans-feminine people and QTPOC (queer and trans people of colour).
In its mission to support people with trans-feminine experience and others, Trans Feminism International will create, distribute and help manage pots of money, that can be accessed by anyone who feels at risk taking public transport and might not otherwise be able to afford, or justify, the cost of private transport. The pot will come with a starter fund of 100 Euros as well as guidelines and continued support in setting up the system.
