Melanie, where are you from and where do you live now?
Berlin, Germany.
How would you describe your artistic style?
I love to take pictures of popular places - mainly of sights and architecture, but also of lonely landscapes. The final image, however, will be developed on my computer. In addition to photography, I am creating a lot of digital artworks – some also with typography and graphic elements. So I won’t call myself a photographer: I am an artist / photodesigner.
What's on top of your bucket list (as an artist or just as a person)?
I would like to travel more. I have never been to Asia or Africa yet.
Analogue or digital?
Always digital.
New York or remote mountain hut?
As an artist definitely New York, but a remote mountain hut would be great to take pictures of polar lights or just relax.

Inner satisfaction with my life and to be healthy.

peace and honesty, less fanaticism... unfortunately, the list is very long and would fill books.
What most people don't understand is that…
everybody should make something of one’s life. In private as well as professional life, one should eventually have found their "vocation" or satisfaction. There is so much moaning, but nothing will be done without initiative of one’s own about that. I'd rather dare something than never have tried - “better an oops than a what if”. If you just stay in your comfort zone, you will never make a difference!
