Project Details

With €1,000, we can grow the idea behind Refugio and expand our consulting, with which refugees will be trained to be paid consultants in the long run.

At Sharehaus Refugio Berlin, people from Syria, Somalia, England, Germany, Sweden, Afghanistan, Palestine, Turkey, Croatia and Bosnia have been working and living together since July 2015 - on 5 floors, in a beautiful, 100-years-old house. They are people who were forced to leave their homes or are in search of a new life and new communities.

Refugio is a project by the Berlin City Mission and Sharehaus.

Since early October 2019 we've already been able to plant 154.977 trees thanks to the pictures sold on Photocircle. They will absorb approximately 12.398.160 kg CO₂ within the next five years.
