Spring Awakening: Young Leaves of the Copper Beech
This serene photo by Nadja Jacke captures the delicate young leaves of the copper beech in spring. The soft reddish tones of the leaves appear almost like a work of art, surrounded by an open background that allows light to flow freely. The fine fuzzy edges and gentle gradients from orange to violet lend the image a special lightness and elegance. This composition invites you to appreciate the beauty and fresh spirit of spring and would look wonderful in a living room or a quiet corner of your home.

Artist's description:
I love these early spring days when the light is still soft and the young leaves of the copper beech (Fagus sylvatica f. purpurea) start to unfold their reddish tones. They look almost painted – with fine fuzz along the edges and gentle gradients from orange to violet. I deliberately kept the background wide open to let the light move freely. To me, this image is a quiet tribute to the elegance of this unique tree.
