Die Chinesischen Fischernetze befinden sich an der Nordspitze der Halbinsel Fort Kochi. Diese Netze wurden wohl im 13. Jahrhundert durch chinesische Kaufleute hier erstmals errichtet. Um die Netze zu bedienen, werden eigentlich vier kräftige Personen benötigt. Allerdings kostet jede beteiligte Person Geld und so wird die Arbeit zum Teil auch von nur zwei Personen unter größter Anstrengung bedient. Wenn man die Fänge sieht, dann kann man sich vorstellen, warum möglichst wenig Personen beteiligt werden.
