Kulturloge Berlin provides people with low income free access to the social life and cultural programs in Berlin. Here is how this great initiative works: concert houses, theaters, museums, etc. rarely sell all their tickets for free. Instead of leaving a big part of their seats empty, many of them give some of their tickets to Kulturloge for free. People on low incomes can take part in the program and get free access to the cultural program of our city. The volunteers at Kulturloge thus enable an optimal and sustainable utilization of existing resources. Above all, it reinforces the cultural awareness at all social levels, and gives the city’s poor the opportunity to take part in the city’s social life. 

The objectives of Kulturloge Berlin are: 

• promotion of cultural and social cohesion in society
• education, integration and civic involvement
• to strengthen the relevance and public perception of culture in society
