
Thomas acquired his business degree in Berlin and Salamanca. After uni he went abroad to work at the Vamos Adelante Foundation in Guatemala. Back in Berlin Thomas started a job at a management consultancy, however, he felt his true vocation was elsewhere and went travelling in Southeast Asia instead. That's when he came up with the idea to start Photocircle. Apart from being CEO, Thomas loves to play all kinds of ballgames and is going to be a dad soon!
Francesco studied Computer Science at the University of Cagliari, Italy. He is a passionate photographer and speaks eight languages: Italian, English, a bit of German and fluent PHP, Javascript, MYSQL, XHTML and CSS. Being one of eight siblings, Francesco is very sociable and enjoys extensive dinner parties with friends. He loves everything that's creative, but not Pizza Hawaii.
After he received his International Management Diploma in Linz-Austria, Oliver started working for Glatzhofer, Zalando and brands4friends. Using his broad range of contacts, he began to work on different emerging startup companies as a marketing advisor. Working for Photocircle gives him now the chance to combine his passion of photography with his work. Inbetween he travels whenever he can, he was discovering South Africa and his favourite country New Zealand. His latest dream is to travel Europe with a yellow-white T2 bus.
Carlo studied Computer Science in Bologna and speaks at least as many languages as Francesco. He is also an awesome guitar player. In his free time he composes songs for his band.
After spending a year travelling and doing volunteer work, such as saving turtles in Costa Rica, Philip studied Business and Management in The Hague, Copenhagen, Milan and Warsaw. He worked in management consulting, for a startup in London and at Google. Besides working hard to bring Photocircle to the next level, Philip loves sports (football, thai boxing, running), hanging out with friends, travelling and cooking. His pasta carbonara and pasta alla amatriciana even caters to the liking of Italians - at least he claims that.
Gianna studied Social Sciences and Philosophy in Leipzig and Rome. With journalistic experience and soft skills Gianna delights team and partners everyday. Apart from working passionately on promoting Photocircle, Gianna loves to go out for long runs, she also plays the Cello and the Piano.
Pictures determine Saskia's life. After obtaining her masters degree in photography & media design at the university of Bielefeld, Saskia worked as a photo editor for various magazines and newspaper in Berlin. At Photocircle, she dedicates all her attention her biggest passion - the portfolios of talented photographers. When she shows up again from the depths of countless photo blogs, she can be found in the company of her loved ones in Kreuzberg. Always in company of cheerful dogs and a glass of red wine.
